Name: Erin Williams High School: Avonworth Grade: 12 Position: Middle Hitter Background Info: Williams is a 5-11 middle hitter in her 3rd year as a starter although she lettered and played much of her freshmen year as well. She plays much bigger than her height. She is a leader and was chosen captain of the team by her peers this year. Erin was an All-Section first team selection last year. I feel she is one of the most underrated middles in the WPIAL. I strongly believe she will be chosen to the All-State team this season. She is the most dominant middle to ever play at Avonworth. She also plays for Pittsburgh Elite on their premier team. She has been designated a scholar-athlete for four years and carries a 3.7 GPA.
