Background Info: Pfarner did not start playing volleyball until the eighth grade. Despite that he has been a varsity starter since his freshman year. He is a member of the National Honors Society. He was voted to the second team of the Section 1 All-Star team as a sophomore and first team last year. He was also voted to the third team of the WPIAL Class 2A All-Star Team as a sophomore and second team last year. He also plays club volleyball for Beaver Valley Premier.
