Shaler wins Seneca Valley Tournament

Shaler won the 12-team Seneca Valley Tournament, held April 6. Shaler started its day with pool play wins over Conneaut Area (25-13), Armstrong (25-22), and Meadville (27-25). In the second preliminary pool, the Titans beat Seneca Valley (25-20, 25-19), Erie McDowell (25-19, 25-23), and Meadville (25-19, 28-26) to enter playoffs as the number one seed overall. In the playoffs, Shaler beat Canon-McMillan, 25-16 in the quarterfinals, Seneca Valley, 25-19 in the semifinals, and Erie McDowell, 25-13 in the title game.
