Name: Haley Barkovich High School: Hopewell Grade: 11 Position: Libero Background Info: Barkovich is a two-year letterman. This is her first year playing the libero position. She was voted to the Midwestern Athletic Conference All Tournament team this season. She also excels in the classroom, as she is a high honor student with a 3.9 grade point average. Quotes from Hopewell coach Terry Borkovic: "Haley is a quiet leader that leads by example. She is the driving force behind our success this season. It is amazing to watch Haley in practice and matches as she gives 100% effort on each and every play. We have some great hitters in our section and Haley has had great success with digging and making some amazing plays. I feel that Haley is one of the top liberos in the AA classification. We have had some all state liberos at Hopewell and Haley is making a strong case for being one of the best to come through our program. Post season recognition should be a future reward for hard work and a great attitude. Haley is leading Hopewell in serving percentage and aces. Haley is a pleasure to coach.
