She played at Court Time, then P3R, and last year for Revolution. In school, Julia is involved in TJ vs. Cancer Club, Interact Club, Spanish Club and Big Jag Little Cub Club. Julia is an honor student. She also serves at her church and volunteers at the library.

Quotes from Thomas Jefferson coach Ron Kelly: "Julia is an outstanding athlete that competes everyday at practice. She stepped into a starting role as outside hitter and primary passer and has excelled. She has worked hard on her serve and back row attack which makes her even more valuable. I sometimes forget she is only a sophomore because of her instinct on the court. Julia has such a good rapport with her teammates and am very happy she will be around another two years in a Jaguar jersey."
