North Catholic wins Upper St. Clair Tournament



North Catholic won the 15-team Upper St. Clair Tournament, held Sept. 7. The Trojans posted a perfect 11-0 record, including an 8-0 mark in pool play. They advanced to the finals with wins over Oakland Catholic, 1-0 in the quarterfinals, and North Allegheny, 1-0 in the semifinals. In the title game, the Trojans beat Canon-McMillan, 25-23.
