Quotes from Bishop Canevin assistant coach Danelle Wagner: "Gillian brings a ton of competitive emotion to the court. She cares deeply about her teammates and their success. Gillian is the player on the court who immediately picks up a teammate after a mistake and makes sure they’re focused on the next play. She has formed a special bond with other teammates who need that positive motivation. No matter the mistakes or errors, Gillian never lets down. She is fearless in that way. She is a compassionate, strong, and caring young woman who has been a blessing to coach. If you get a chance to watch her play, pay attention to the intense celebration and love for the game she exudes with every ace, kill, or block. It’s contagious and the type of fire a true competitor is born with."
