She has been playing club volleyball since she was eight years old. She's played the last four years for Revolution Volleyball club, where her team has been to the USVBA or AAU national championships every year since she was 15. Sophia is blessed to have already accepted an offer from Clarion University and will major in nursing as well as continue her volleyball career for the Golden Eagles. She is also on the Bocce Team and involved with Butler’s best buddies program.

Quotes from Butler coach Meghan Lucas: "Sophia set a goal early on in her volleyball career to play in college and has worked very hard in the classroom and on the court to achieve that goal. She is a leader, and a tremendous teammate who will run through a brick wall to help her team."
