Quotes from Upper St. Clair coach Kim Manning: "Sydney has truly been a fantastic leader and athlete for the USC Volleyball program. She has become the quarterback of her team this year and runs her offense effectively setting a 5-1. Sydney always wants to see her teammates excel as well and will be the first to congratulate them or jump out of the gym cheering for them. I love having a setter focused on game planning and running an offense that considers not only our team’s strengths, but the weaknesses she sees on the other side of the net that she learns in film. Her 24 kills this season as a setter goes to show that she is an aggressive player and I can’t wait to see how she pushes her teammates the rest of her senior season."
