Background Info: Tayla began playing volleyball when she was in 3rd grade at Saint Sebastian Catholic School. When she started at California she returned to volleyball in middle school. She is a four-year starter and captain her junior and senior Year. She developed a true passion for the game and started to play club volleyball in 8th grade. She played four years for Penn Highlands Volleyball Club and one year at Sky Elite Volleyball Club. Tayla was nominated by her teammates her sophomore and junior year as Most Valuable Player. She is a three-time Section 2 All-Star: third team in 2018 and first team in 2019 and 2020. In addition to volleyball, she is a member of the track and field team. She is also an active member of National Honors Society, SADD, Interact Club, Peer Jury and The Future is Mine Club.
