Quotes from Seneca Valley coach Brett Poirier: "I have had the pleasure of coaching Emma for six years. From the first time she walked in the gym I knew she was going to be special. She can take over a match and do it all. When the game is on the line and she rotates to the front row is where you want her to be. She can hit out of any spot in the front row. Give you a big block or go back and serve a bunch of points. She has been one my captains for two years now. Colby college is very lucky to have landed Emma. I am sure she will do great things there. She will be missed next year but not forgotten."
