Background Info: Ava is a four-year starter and letter winner and is team captain at Mars. She was All-WPIAL last season and has been a two-time All-Section player. At the end of her junior season, she passed the school record for blocks in a career. Ava has excelled to an even greater degree in the classroom. Currently ranked fifth in her class earning a High Honor Roll, she is a member of National Honors Society, Enrichment, German National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society and Future Women in Health. Ava is also a very talented basketball player and will be a four-year starter and letter winner for Mars. She is twice captain and received All-Section first and second team awards her sophomore and junior year. She is being recruited to play basketball in college where she will be pre-law.
