Class 3A Feature Athlete (May 6)

Name: Logan Peterson
High School: Shaler
Grade: 10
Position: Outside/Right-Side Hitter

Background Info: Peterson is a second-year Varsity starter. Last year, he started every game for the Titans as a middle blocker and this year he has moved to an outside/right side hitter. He has worked extremely hard in the off-season with his strength, conditioning and working through club volleyball. He is an extremely hard worker and a great teammate. He is a high honor student and is in the top of his class academically.

Quotes from Shaler coach Paul Stadelman: "Logan is a steady performer who has demonstrated what commitment, hard work, and dedication can do in a short amount of time. Logan has put in the hours and time in the weight room working on strength and conditioning and is a model of how these practices can transform an athlete from average to outstanding. He demonstrates the ability to get better every day at practice and is a great teammate and supporter. He has a high ceiling and is going to continue to get better throughout this season and the next two years of high school. Logan is a pleasure to coach and is one of many talented volleyball players on the Titan squad this season. He was a dominant force this past weekend at the net both offensively and defensively in our tournament win at Meadville."
