Name: Cassidy Dell High School: Freeport Grade: 12 Position: Setter/Opposite/Outside Hitter Background Info: Dell is class Vice President and a member of the National Honor Society with a 4.38 GPA. She has played for Westmoreland Elite and P3R club teams. She is a two time WPIAL All-Star, third team in 2020 and first team in 2021. She was also a first-team section all-star both years. In 2021, she was recognized on the PVCA All-State Team. Quotes from Freeport coach Tom Phillips: "Cassidy has been a Freeport volleyball player for the last six years. She has a tremendous work ethic, she's a great talent and a wonderful leader for the program. Cassidy does a little bit of everything on the court and makes everyone around her a better person and student athlete. It will be a joy to watch Cassidy take her talent to the next level. Her choice of school should consider themselves honored to have her as a part of their team. Student athletes like Cassidy Dell are few and far between and though it's time to move on soon, Freeport High School will be sorry to see her go." |
