The host Mustangs won the 12-team Plum Tournament, held Sept. 20. Plum posted a 6-0 record in pool play, then beat Brentwood, 25-7 in the quarterfinals; Indiana, 25-17 in the semifinals; and Freeport, 25-20, 25-23 in the title match.
