Shaler won the 10-team Butler Spikefest Tournament, held Aug. 30. The Titans posted a 5-1 record in pool play, then beat Butler, 26-24 in the quarterfinals; Seneca Valley, 25-13 in the semifinals; and Chartiers Valley, 25-18 in the title game.
